Healthcare began as a cottage industry, focusing on restoring and maintaining individual health. It has grown into a highly structured system that prioritizes provider needs over patient needs. Our panel discussions will focus on how healthcare can reclaim its human-centered approach and create more supportive work environments for nurses and physicians.
Traditionally, the healthcare system rewards a narrow set of outcomes which may not be meaningful for patients. Consumerism in healthcare is increasing due to empowered and educated patients. Healthcare providers must prioritize patients as individuals before their diseases. Patient panels will focus on the evolution of patients as consumers and individuals, as well as the continuation of care.
Panel discussions will explore requirements to view change as an opportunity, not a threat via examining mission, vision, patients, employees, care delivery, and communities served.
The current Healthcare landscape requires flexibility and adaptability from its leadership. It demands a need to be more inclusive, collaborative, and interdependent. Our C-Suite Roundtable discussion will explore healthcare leadership during times of volatility.
Healthcare leaders are presented with two major yet interconnected issues: an overworked and emotionally drained workforce, and unsatisfied patients. They must address both of these issues together in order to overcome deeply ingrained barriers that stop meaningful change.
Traditional workplace culture strategies, employee engagement and well-being programs, DEI initiatives, decision-making methods and lack of readiness to tackle ESG issues have time-sensitive implications, including cost, trust and talent acquisition. These consequences directly affect care delivery and patient satisfaction.
Healthcare leadership is at a pivotal point in its readiness for the future. A panel of leaders under the age of 40 will examine how to modernize outdated leadership standards. These outdated standards have limited innovation, hindered patient-centered care, and lack essential big-business competencies. The discussion will consider how to develop sustainable growth through partnerships and emerging technologies.
Technology is transforming the healthcare experience and offering new opportunities for caregivers. A panel of Healthtech experts will discuss innovative paths for utilizing technology to improve patient wellbeing. These experts will also discuss methods of segmentation, personalization, and creating trustworthy longitudinal patient record platforms.
